Its ambition is to conduct research into the specific, healthy properties of fruit, in collaboration with renowned institutes in this field. Fruitmasters values the importance of raising consumer awareness about just how healthy eating certain types of fruit is.

Everyone knows that fruit is good for your health, but what is it that makes fruit so healthy? Fruitmasters Health Institute is constantly searching for the answers. For instance, for growing children, people with a busy lifestyle or the elderly. Through conducting research into these, and other specific target groups, the institute can gather knowledge about important, health beneficial substances in fruit.
Knowledge
Fruitmasters Health Institute uses this knowledge to develop and optimise cultivation techniques, production process and other technology associated with fruit, fruit salads and fruit juices. For example, studies have demonstrated that red apples are very healthy as they contain high levels of flavonoids, which can help prevent cardio vascular diseases. Plus, red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, are bursting with powerful nutrient components such as antioxidants, fibres, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. All substances that can significantly reduce the risk of certain cardio vascular diseases.
