Fruitmasters Veiling is the service provision branch of Royal FruitmastersGroup. It provides logistics and technical facility services to associated members, the commercial daughter companies of the Royal FruitmastersGroup and to third parties. Its central location makes Fruitmasters a natural part of an efficient logistic process.
 
The history of the auction at Geldermalsen dates back to 1904 when the auction clock system was first used. A century later the Fruitmasters Veiling has developed into a facility and logistics centre and an indispensable partner for the European fruit market. Being able to use the facilities offered by Fruitmasters means associated growers can supply national and international traders and retailers efficiently, while safeguarding the freshness of their produce.

Storage and cooling
For long-term fruit storage, Fruitmasters has a storage capacity of 45,000 tons. Fruit is stored under ULO conditions which preserves and guarantees fruit quality. High-speed cooling tunnels allow Fruitmasters to chill packaged produce in the space of around two hours to 2 to 3˚C. For storage and transhipment of fruit there is around 17,000 m2 of conditioned space available at Fruitmasters, equipped with 32 loading docks. These storage areas are fully certified and conditioned so Fruitmasters can guarantee a closed cool chain.

Grading, packaging and delivering
Fruitmasters has one of the largest and most advanced grading and packing stations in Europe. The hard fruit and soft fruit is graded and packed efficiently and according to customer specifications. Quality, tracking and tracing, food safety and hygiene are the major considerations. The grading and packing stations, as well as all logistic areas at Fruitmasters, are fully HACCP and BRC certified.

Customised packaging
Fruitmasters delivers customer-specific packaging for the professional presentation of fruit. Diverse packaging options are possible such as foodtainers, bagged, layered, lidded, flow-packed with Fruitmasters quality labelling or under private label. Thanks to its capacity and flexibility, Fruitmasters can process and deliver high volumes of produce.
